FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to get a knowledge test?
Yes. Practice the Driver Knowledge Test for Rigid or Combination vehicles on the Service NSW website. Once comfortable, visit Service NSW to complete your Driver Knowledge Test (45 questions). After passing, obtain your HVCBA logbook and handbook.
What's the process to get a truck licence?
- Complete the Driver Knowledge Test and obtain logbook from Service NSW
- Book your course with KSB Training
- Complete your 1-3 day training and assessment with KSB
- Take your certificate to Service NSW to receive your licence
Do I need to do a driving test with the transport department?
The initial Driver Knowledge Test is done with Service NSW, but all practical training and assessment is completed with KSB Training. There’s no need for additional driving tests after completing our course.
How long is the forklift course?
Our forklift course runs for 3 days, with day one focusing on theory, day two on practical skills, and assessment on day three.
